Fish Sling
Developed for BTT
This project was brought to me by Sunbrella® during my time at Glen Raven Inc. The fish sling’s purpose was to provide a physical tool to help Bonefish and Tarpon Trust with conservation efforts.
Designed for Functionality
The sling was designed with ease of use in mind. Plenty of grip points and handles were included to allow for secure use in wet and dynamic conditions.
Premium Materials
Made with 100% Sunbrella® textiles ranging from durable and fast-draining mesh, to wear-resistant technical fabrics, this sling was made to cradle fish in water and allow researchers to safely and securely analyse large fish.
Sling in Action
Shown below are members of the Bonefish Tarpon Trust catching a tarpon in order to surgically implant an acoustic tag to provide valuable data sets of where tarpon move in their environment.
